Summer months - 2008

Although the summer months are quiet for events, please remember this is a particularly difficult time for families dealing with hunger. The children from these families, who at least received nutritious lunches and often breakfasts at school, are now home for the summer. As a result, the many food pantries we serve throughout our area see an increased need from these families during these months. Please consider making a monetary or food donation at this time to help our hungry neighbors.

Companies - please help by sponsoring an event

Companies are encouraged to contact the GBFB's Manager of Marketing and Development, Doug Long, to learn about becoming a sponsor of events. Not only will you help the Food Bank defer the costs of these events so we can devote more funds to helping the hungry, you will be showing your community that your organization is a partner in helping our less fortunate neighbors. Doug can be reached at 610-926-5802 ext. 212.
